Favourite Shichibukai

Past or present. I'm torn between Doflamingo, Crocodile and Mihawk.

Crocodile is the best. Doflamingo had potential to be even better, however. I used to think Blackbeard was the best, but Crocodile is not only the best shichibukai, but the best character in the Manga, looking at the total picture. Law, Jinbe, and Moriah are cool too.

I actually never saw the appeal in Mihawk though. I find him bland and uninteresting. I don't get why he just doesn't step down from his Shichibukai position since he's just that powerful. He's also just there as a goal for Zoro to meet.

Mihawk may be bland, but it's meant to be that way. He's the strongest swordsman in the world, and he literally is just waiting to die, by virtue of someone surpassing him. It must suck to just sit on top of the world with no challenge whatsoever after working so hard to get there. He literally just wants to die at this point.

I also find him intruiging due to how little we actually know about him. He may be in the Shichibukai for reasons outside of his control, as be doesn't seem to enjoy being there.

He was alright as a villain, but after they made him an anti-hero he got bland

Yeah, But I didn't see him as that charismatic villain. I prefer Doflamingo by far.
