How does Vegeta know Goku is a Super Saiyan? Wouldn’t it be weird if Vegeta knew Freeza could do more than what he was showing? Or is this not that technical.

I always thought warm up = kicking blast, Freeza is taking Goku seriously, but underestimating Goku should be something between that and above his initial level. I don’t think this level matters though.

Vegeta: 4,800
~ FBC: 6,400

Goku: 7,000
~ Full power: 10,000

Freeza: 5,300
~ Serious: 7,200
~ More serious: 10,800

I think that's what Kyo said as well. I'm definitely changing up. No Hands Freeza has to be a completely different level than what was previously shown. That's the only way to make sense of it.

And the confusion of the blast situation is a combination of Freeza's power at the time being somewhat ambiguous as well as the common trope of "Why didn't my ki blast work?" Episode 423. It literally always happens.

How strong is Freeza when he first fights Goku?

Shouldn’t this be effort based though? Freeza has a realm of power he can access based on his level of effort. When he initially attacks Goku it seems like he’s barely trying. I’d assume it’s the lowest power for the lowest effort. Yes, it's effort based, I'm just saying he tried the same...

There is really no reason for Freeza to be using less power after Vegeta hyped up Goku as the Super Saiyan.
