Fortuneteller Baba - what is she? Roshi/Baba's parents?

I know she's Roshi's older sister. But wtf is she? Is she a staff member of the Kai realm? Are there other fortunetellers, like there are many kais and angels? Where does she live usually? Did she eat the same herb as Roshi?

Who are Roshi and Baba's parents? Roshi is only over 300 years old, whereas his sister is over 500 years old. So his mom had a kid at 100+ years old? WHAT
How have I never seen this discussed?

Why is she allowed to visit the kais? Is she a former guardian?

How is she 100 years older than Roshi, if she's his sister? Did Roshi's whole family smoke the herb?

Well, at least he called an "immortal phoenix" to grant Goku immortality. In the sense he couldn't die of old age, but if he were killed, like Roshi, I imagine. I believe it's like that concept.

As for how Roshi would conjure it up and know of such magical being... I think that either him training with Karin gave him some kind of other world power... not like Kami or any God, but as Karin is still a mystical being linking his tower to Kami, maybe he has given some of his mystic (not God like Kami tho) powers to Roshi. Or maybe there were creatures like that in the world, just like Kami created the DBs, or that DB was a world with supernatural things, Roshi kinda found them and resources to be almost a supernatural being by researching a lot around the world, like a very strong adventurer pursuing new knowledge, discoveries... and he either granted his sister that status with that, or Baba was also that kind of person and inspired Roshi due to being young, or (going back to the first hypothesis), she had a sort of relationship with Karin.... and then Roshi got to know Karin... shrugs.

pretty sure Roshi said he lied about drinking an immortal elixir in the demon king piccolo arc. and he's died thrice now so he's obvs not immortal

as for baba being 200 years older than him that sounds like guidebook only nonsense

If Roshi got the immortality due to his relationship with Kami and Karin, it wouldn't make sense for Baba to get it passed on from Roshi. Baba is 100+ years older than Roshi, so a source of longevity had to come before Roshi was born, otherwise Roshi/Baba's shared parent(s) would've died long before Roshi was born.

I guess Baba knowing the pre-Kami Guardian of Earth can make sense, given that she was works with King Yemma and given her age - Kami was born 300 years ago, while Baba has been fortune-telling for over 500 years, so the source of longevity had to come before Kami even existed. Karin is 800+ years old.
Then Roshi could've been introduced to Karin or just come across him due to his martial arts training.

It's possible Roshi's parents themselves were involved with the Other World too, prior to Baba being born. Or maybe Baba was ordained at a young age by the Other World or by Karin and then after that requested for her parents to be given longevity, allowing Roshi to be born to a parent 100+ years old.

But then if Roshi's parents had longevity and basically immortality, how did his parents die? They must've been killed by someone or had an accident.

Maybe they got a huge longevity with martial arts skills, Roshi's parents I mean, and so did Roshi... like his healthy habits and management of breathing techniques, dunno... maybe entire dedication to martial arts making them live so long they were basically immortal. Netero in HxH was like 200 years old, too, I'd imagine... and there's a zoldyc ancient who might be hundreds of years old...

Maybe Roshi's parents longevity was passed to Baba through other means, I dunno.... the story didn't leave too many things to make some very creative and sensible explanations imo,
