Garling's strength

[Future Warrior]

After some thought I think Garling has the potential to be near the pinnacle of the verse.

In his prime, he was a player in the God Valley incident that involved major players like Rocks, WB, Shiki, BM, and Kaido. Of course he had help from Roger and Garp but still. It's fair to say he still wasn’t as strong as Shanks, but I doubt he was that far off.

Now, with his appointment to Gorosei status, his presumed newfound powers such as immortality and Yokai form should push him to much greater heights. Being ageless means that his physical body isn’t limited, so he’s basically an upgraded version of his prime with the regen and transformation.

I think I’d be kinda insane if Shanks somehow still ends up above this level of power, but he’s Oda’s poster child so it’s not crazy lol.

The rest of the Gorosei might have been monsters prior to their immortality as well. They are all battle scarred. Maybe they were the Garlings of their own eras.

As for Garling, he might be around Yonko tier. His introduction made him seem special and that was 40 years ago.
