Gohan listens to his father and finishes off Cell. How would this impact the story?

The Dragon Balls are used to revive Cells victims and then remove the bombs from #17 and #18. Goku doesn't allow Gohan to slack off too much in his training and trains Goten occasionally. Not gaining Otherworld training, Goku doesn't make as great gains as his canon self, though still achieves SS2. When the Boo Arc commences, Goku having trained Goten well allows him to get the edge on Trunks and win the Kid's Division. Dabura is killed before Boo can be revived, whether it be by Gohan having retained enough power to do so or Goku/Vegeta finishing the job. As Goku wasn't around for only 1 day and wasn't vastly above Vegeta, Majin Vegeta wouldn't happen. Boo isn't revived.
When BoG happens, Beerus doesn't fight the Z-Warriors and instead, Goku uses the Dragon Balls after the party is over and things commence the same as in canon until then, though depending on how things go in the current arc, we have yet to say what impact Boo's absence would make to the fight against Moro.
