Gohan Zenkai post Saiyan arc?

Not that he's implied to have powered up greatly by initial Namek, but do you think he got a small Zenkai after the beatings he took in the Saiyan arc?

Yeah, that's how I think he got up to 1,500. Just a small one after fighting Nappa, and a slightly bigger one after fighting Vegeta, when he sustained major injuries. Like this:

Initial: 1,307
Post Nappa: 1,350
Post Vegeta: 1,500

Idk about after Nappa. He did take a couple attacks but it seemed as though he was more exhausted than near death.

Gohan fully recovered after mere days in the hospital with no Senzu, I don't think it necessitates a Zenkai or anything. Probably just a small boost from recovering after a tough battle similar to post-Muscle Tower Galu.

It's worth noting that Gohan seemed to hold an advantage vs Kuririn in their spaceship training....so if 1,500 is for weighted Kuririn, then full power Gohan should be scratching the 2,000 surface imo.

Saiyans saga Kuririn --- 1,600

Considering Goku becoming stronger after each battle in Part 1 is brought up by Kuririn as a reference to Zenkais, I don't see why Gohan wouldn't at least get a slight boost when his injuries after the battle were more severe than something like Galu's beatdown from Tambourine. It probably wouldn't be a significant one as the 1.5k reading and the lack of suggestion to him holding back (Kuririn's dialogue implies the opposite, if anything) leaves very little room to work with unless having his non-rage boosted Saiyan Arc self behind the Saibaimen (which isn't impossible).

Logically Gohan should have gotten a big boost from that battle, but Zenkai's were just a plot device that was made for the Freeza arc.
