Goku had fused with Hercule?

This what if greatly depends on how you view the fusion formula. Does the
multiplier apply to the weakest individual PL or to the strongest?
My intuition says the result would have been a gag character (like Veku in
Janemba movie) that wouldn't be able to turn Super Saiyan. Maybe he
would have stalled Buu with some gag techniques till Vegeta arrived.
The next question is, what happens after Vegeta shows up? Can Gokule
fuse with Vegeta? Can a fused being use the potara again? Old Kai said
they can be used only once in a lifetime. Does that mean that someone
who is already fused cannot potara fuse again or was he just referring to
the irreversibility of the fusion?
If they fuse, what will Vegokule be like? Will he be not very different from
Vegetto? In that case, not much changes.
