Goku (Initial vs. Robot Pirate) vs. Robot Pirate?

I'm referring to Goku (Initial) when he fought alongside Krillin against the Robot Pirate.

Goku wasn't fighting at 100%.

Who is stronger?

Did Goku ever power up against it? I think his initial self was just stronger than it.
