His nap and fight after Ginyu isn't going to increase his power from around 60,000 up to around 500,000 that fast. Getting severely injured by Recoome is what got him that strong.

Vegeta alone could probably handle the three main members of the force. Gurd could screw things up, but he is so weak he'll probably be killed in the crossfire of the battle. Finally, Goku destroys Ginyu with ease.

Agreed with Vegeta not being as strong as Goku when he arrived. But when Vegeta got healed he grew stronger, maybe not even realizing how strong he became himself at first. The nap part does not sound like the only logical explanation.

But think about what you're saying. Increasing that high after fighting just Jeice and Ginyu that weren't very intense and then a little nap. Vegeta would also have to have a power level over 60,000 because Ginyu stated that someone had to have a power level of 60,000 to beat a Ginyu Force member. And I thought Goku's power level was estimated at 90,000.

Goku received a massive Zenkai of 33x for no unexplainable reason (Okay, some people have come up with some pretty good theories, but still), so Vegeta improving 10 fold and realizing the full benefits of his new and improved Zenkai isn't entirely outlandish. Think of it as Zenkai that was gradually becoming more and more effective as time went on, this is even implied by Vegeta.

Ig I see what you're saying then. So I think what you're getting at is that Vegeta's Zenkai began when he ate the senzu bean and it did increase his power by quite a bit but it was continually increasing thats why he needed his nap so his powers could catch up to speed so to speak. Is that somewhat what you're getting at?

Otherwise you end up with Vegeta being at a battle power where he could essentially step in, defeat Goku and Ginyu and have no reason to be impressed with either of them.
