Roshi smashed him, Tao smashed Goku after that, who in turn got smashed by Goku who in turn got smashed by Pikkoro Sr. If there was any other one smashing in the chain that would definitely end up making Goku and Pikkoro Jr too strong as they were against Raditz (about 410....plus you have to take the 5 years or so of training between the 23rd Budokai and the start of Z, which definitely would have given them both a big increase in PL considering Pikkoro was training to kill Goku and then you have to take into account that when Goku beat opponents he obviously was a little bit stronger than each of them and not literally only matching their PL, all of which should push Goku's maximum possible BoDB PL down further). Was there another stomping somewhere that would force Goku even lower? Would 23rd Budokai Goku have completely stomped Pikkoro Sr for example?

10 seems a little bit too low if Goku was able to kill Grandpa Gohan just by becoming a blutz monkey. If GG was even just 80. If Grandpa Gohan's PL is 6.67x Goku's PL then 10x Goku's PL will be 1.5x GG's PL, which should be the minimum to kill him so easily, so if Gohan was any stronger than 6.67x Goku, transforming would not have been enough to kill him.

So what's the max that people would be willing to put Grandpa Gohan at? If you were to give him 100 then Goku would need to be at least 15 PL to kill him.

Right now I'm thinking Goku would be in the 40-60 range. Strong enough to easily kill GG once transformed, but weak enough to easily lose to Roshi, if Roshi was in the low 100s, although I can see Roshi being as strong as 160 at most, in which case I could see Goku being as high as 90 at most, with Goku's PL against Raditz meaning it couldn't get higher than that.

Yeah it's impossible to make DB power chains work with BoZ power levels. Beginning of dragonball goku should really be in the negative numbers to make his power level against raditz work.

Why don't you just use my theory? Farmer is 0.05 and Raditz just said 5.
