Goku's comment about Vegetto vs Beerus

Do you think Goku is talking about the suppressed Beerus that defeated him or speculating about an hypothetical full power Beerus? Is Goku expecting Vegeta to have grown stronger or he is counting Vegeta as is his Buu saga self? Do you think Goku is aware of Vegeta having gotten stronger?

I think he's thinking of the best case scenario, if Vegeta was as strong as himself or close to. He is definitely speculating about Beerus' full power. You could tell from Beerus' effort level that he was only displaying a fraction of what he was capable of. Goku probably made an estimate in his mind as he did when he first fought Freeza.

He should be speculating on full power Beerus. He should have experience with what amount it takes to two-hit K.O. someone very casually.

As for knowing if Vegeta got stronger, DB characters seemingly forget they can sense people from across the planet and even into deep space because several times they reconvene with other Z fighters and don't know how strong they've gotten. Logically Goku should know but based on narrative precedent, he probably doesn't.

So this would minor the expected gap being between Vegetto and SSJ3 Goku in the same saga or that wasn't as big as it was believed to be?
