1. If Gowasu is powerless against Zamasu than why would Zamasu care about him knowing that he was going to die?

2. Goku took a battle stance when Zamasu tried to kill him so I don't think he was really scared.

Most likely so that Gowasu'd die not knowing what hit him. I guess Zamasu wouldn't like to think that his master knew that he back-stabbed him.

maybe he was afraid of Gowasu trying to destroy his Potara if he knew he was going to be killed? It seems like Kaioshin-potaras can't be made on the fly like the ones Kibito made for Gohan's outfit
