I know I said the same thing about Berserk manga twice, but this is different, I swear. Lesgo

I watched up to episode 22 of the original series and even that much was a chore. What interest the premise had was quickly ruined by how much of a typical Shonen it turned out to be with how plot armoured the main trio are as well as the power creep later on of single soldiers being able to defeat Titans that used to require the combined efforts of a group to face as well as the characters in general being very one-note. From what I've heard, it became somewhat better later once it started going into more topics such as political intrigue, though it came at the cost of a loss of identity for the series' focus and I've heard the later seasons even delve into the sin of bringing time travel into things.GreatSaiyaman123 said:@Captain Cadaver thoughts on this anime?
Captain Cadaver said:So, it seems the manga ended recently and apparently the ending was extremely bad according to the majority of the fanbase, the last 16 or so chapters even being compared to as such a low bar as Game of Thrones Season 8. Not that I'm surprised, but yeah. Apparently, Isayama went the whole unpredictable for unpredictability's sake route. Just a bit of warning for you in case you genuinely have high hopes for the series.
