Got past episode 20 or so and I have no idea what they aimed to do with this. It's pretty boring and aimless using a lot of violence and death for shock value. If people like this series, it's definitely not because of season 1. Fuck this.

I don't know why so many in this thread are criticizing Attack On Titan. I was actually blown away by it, but that's just me.

i was turned off by the end of season 1, but came back like 5 years later. S2 and 3 were great entertainment and had a plot that was exciting to try to anticipate and to watch unfold. Can't say I watched it very critically though. S4 I quit again at ep 8, because the new character was fucking stupid, plus they killed one of my favourite characters super early on lol, which was the final nail in the coffin. Some cliche and cheesy parts too, but don't remember them.
