Had android 16 been in the future, do you think he would've been equally cruel as 17 & 18 were?

I think he would be the same as main 16 but since 17 and 18 are evil he would develop a grudge against them for killing the wildlife he likes. Other than that he'd retire to the forest I think. 16 was a failure in both timelines.

I'd want to see the dynamic between him and 17. Present 17 thought of himself as the strongest artificial human, then was taken aback by 16 being better. Future 17 seemed to have similar pride, while being a lot colder. Perhaps there would be lingering resentment over that, but it's anyone's guess with these what-ifs.

Yes. Gero likely reprogrammed Androids #17 & #18 because they almost killed them in the present timeline, and then he likely programmed #16 to be just as evil.

If he were like in the main timeline, he'd likely kill 17 and 18 for their mass killing.

I'm not so sure. 16 stood by while 17 and 18 fought the Z-Fighters, despite the risk of the good guys dying.

18 was pulling her punches against Vegeta so he probably sensed that.
