Has Goku Gone Too Far Above Vegeta?

One of the few things Super does better than GT would be that there's someone we can actually call a main character besides Galu, unlike how Trunks and Pan were mere sidekicks.

But now? The gap may as well be as wide as the one in the early Evil Dragons arc, before Vegeta temporarily achieved SSJ4. UI Sign is already better than SSJBE in every way aside from ki consumption. Galu has a form above that which he can now access at will, which is far stronger than it was in the ToP where it already made Vegeta look like a complete weakling. In the anime, SSJBE isn't even stronger than Kaioken Blue, aside from when Vegeta got that stupid resolve hax against Toppo. In 's Broly film, SSJBE didn't even exist.

Super clearly isn't ending anytime soon, so do you guys think Toyotaro will even try to close this gap? Or will Vegeta end up in the same pathetic place he was against Super #17 in GT?

Vegeta will become SSJ3 soon and reclaim status.

If the Oracle Fish is meant to be trusted, Vegeta will catch up to Galu eventually; most likely through some means that would make no sense, as is typical of Super.

And let's not forget he'll always have the excuse that he trained harder than Galu or some shit, because DBS Vegeta pretty much has the same personality Majin Vegeta did prior to his sacrifice.
