Did I miss this one lol? I've been into Star Wars for a long time to the knowledge just kind of built up. Most of what I know comes from reading a lot of the novels when I was younger, but most of that got wiped away when Disney bought the franchise.

Start with the movies and Clone Wars, that's all that counts for high level continuity. The books can come depending on your interest, but again, only everything made by Disney is now considered canon as far as novels and comics go.

Getting high and browsing Wookipedia is also an easy way to build knowledge.
