With Hit's ability to quickly progress, he reaches SSR Black's level pretty quickly (if he hasn't already) and kills him before Zamasu can use Potara fusion. Then, there's one of two scenarios. First is that Zamasu's immortality is still enough to outlast the other fighters' stamina, so the Zen-Oh button is still needed. Zen-Oh still destroys Trunks' timeline and the arc ends as it did in canon and things continue similar to how they originally did afterwards. The other scenario is that no longer facing a powerful opponent, Goku and Trunks seem fine with the idea of returning to the main timeline for Goku to learn the Mafuba whilst Vegeta and Hit stop Zamasu from killing humans by making tactical retreats and chasing him once their stamina had recovered. With Trunks not training with his father in this scenario, he'd likely either learn the Mafuba as well or supervise Galu meaning he picks up the talisman in this timeline. Zamasu is sealed and Future Trunks' timeline is saved, though with the losses not being as easily restored as by going to an identical timeline, it's probably a far more bittersweet ending for Trunks than in the main series. Don't believe this would change much for the series as a whole unless there being two Zen-Ohs in the main timeline impacts the plot at a later point. The only other possible change I see is that Hit may inform his teammates about the Mafuba, meaning Frost never falls for it and the entire Mafuba section of that episode is removed, instead jumping to Vegeta fighting Frost and Roshi's elimination.
