How do Buu's absorptions work?

With the exception of Dai Kai, who reduced Buu's power, how do the other absorptions work? Vote and discuss.

Stated to be addition but Dai Kaioshin clearly throws a wrench in that. If taking Super into account, South Kaioshin seemed to be at least somewhat relevant to Moro, so addition wouldn't make sense for him either. I'd say it's addition for mortals and random for gods.

Don’t really know who’s stronger since I’m not into making power level lists like most people here but they’re in the same ballpark.

Kid Boo to Ultra Boo and Evil Boo to Super Boo were multiplications. Super Boo's absorbtions were additions.
