He knew how strong Vegeta so? He also know it takes a SS3 to beat Boo even a lot of debaters have Fat Boo like 90% of Goku.

Piccolo told him that Boo is stronger and he went head to head against Majin Boo and look what happened? He got destroyed. Boo's ki like a lie which mean that Boo can get stronger not because his ki is difficult to sense.

Gotenks is overrestimating himself. Piccolo even noted Boo is greater than before which included power as well. You know what he did? Gotenks was about to die but Boo just stand there and didn't do anything.

Ssjin Gotenks fighting Beerus does not prove he's superior to Vegeta. It proves that he's an idiot who proved many times that he overrestimae himself and underestimate his opponent as always.

Toriyama once stated that Goku and his friends were at their peak of power during BOG, and that afterwards their age caused their power to decrease. Although, that's thrown out the window with SSJGSSJ Goku and Vegeta.
