How strong was Kuririn during Freeza Arc?

Vegeta was being delusional when he thought that 3 of them can take out Freeza. He was being optimistic at best.

Keeping up with Gohan for the most part, but falling behind due to the latter's additional zenkais.

Anywhere between 150,000 and 300,000 sounds good to me.

But pre-zenkais Gohan is a wild card. How can you put Krilin above Ginyu? Any feat in particular? Because I can't even think of one, and no, the kienzan cutting Freezer's tail is not a feat since it was a sneak attack and the Kienzan was an OP attack that bypassed huge differences in power.

Pre zenkai Goku bested Ginyu and Vegeta considers him useless vs. Freeza.

Vegeta considers Krillin to be useful vs. Freeza.

But the context where Vegeta says this is completely different. Do you think that if Vegeta and Krilin were talking far from Freezer he would've told Krilin anything different?
But in front of Freezer, when the fight was inevitable, what would accomplish to say that Krilin and Gohan were useless? He may had been bluffing to intimidate Freezer, to cheer Gohan and Krilin (who were trembling in fear, and after seeing Vegeta started to believe in his words) or both.

You can't use those kind of statements as if they were some sort of mathematical formula or numbers given by a scoutter. It's like when Trunks came from the future: the first time he told Goku he could do nothing against the androids. The second time he admits he was able to fight against future androids in equal terms. Did future androids became weaker? Or it was Trunks lying a bit so Goku wouldn't get confident in those 3 years, increasing the chances they could win?

Characters in DB are well realised, which means that they're not simply "the voices of the author" but that they act and speak according to their interests and the context of the situation they're in.

Chapter: 295 (DBZ 101), P13.6
Context: after grappling with Vegeta for awhile, after Vegeta said they could win
Gohan: “It-it’s true…! If we 3 fight together, we might really be able to manage something…H-he really is absolutely incredible, but we’ve gotten better too…!”

You know, I really would've liked to have seen how that battle would've played out.

Eh, Vegeta kinda flip-flops there.

He goes from thinking Goku can't handle Freeza unless he's immortal, to not being sure if Goku can handle Ginyu, to estimating that Goku and Ginyu are equals, to saying he'll need Goku to heal and get up to full-power so he could help against Freeza. Another thing to remember is Vegeta later yells at Krillin about Goku being unable to get a zenkai because he's a low class Saiyan.

So yeah, Vegeta considered him useless (sans immortality) early on, but after the battle with Ginyu, feels as though Goku is necessary when it comes to fighting Freeza.

Vegeta only saw Goku's 60k power, so this all the power Krillin needs to be useful against Freeza.
