According to GT's timeline, the events of the Baby Arc's end still took place in Age 789 and prior to the Super #17 Arc there was the 31st Tenkaichi Budokai, with the event always being held on 7th May, meaning there was at least roughly a 5 month difference between them. This is far greater than that between the Super #17 Arc and the end of the Evil Dragons Arc, with the former arc not being suggested to take place throughout more than 1 day (even including the search for the Dragon Balls, it'd probably be no more than 2) and the time taken to defeat the Evil Dragons is very vague with Goku and Pan constantly moving throughout the world, though it likely took place no longer than a few days.
