In FnF, when they revive Freeza's pieces. All the body parts try to reform, and it look just like Cooler's repairs in Movie 6.

I thought it was a nice touch.

The after world or whatever it is seems to be in charge of what goes on with someone's body after death, hence why they can give it back. I just figured they kept Freeza in pieces as a sort of punishment.
