Disappointed that he wasn't chosen for the Tournament of Power and his many failures after dying in the Saiyan Saga, Yamcha decides he's had enough. He decides to go back in time at a point in time where the Z-Fighters had a difficult battle against someone that Yamcha now could easily destroy. Yamcha takes the time-machine (plz don't ask me where this came from. It's DB-Super, who cares?
) and says something like "This should do. I can manage this." Now you can think whatever you like on how high he got. Since someone once said that Toyotaro said he still trains, I guess we finally get to see the fruits of his training. I'd say the fight against Saiyan-Saga Vegeta and Nappa or 1st form Freeza'd be a good placement for his power. Yamcha goes to said time-period and obviously finds his friends in a dire situation. He makes an epic and grand heroic entrance, telling his opponent to either leave the planet or get Yamcha'd. Yamcha does his thang and defeats the seemingly undefeatable opponent with ease.
However since this is modern DragonBall and everyone'll want the mandatory Yamcha joke in there. Yamcha could let his guard down, turn his back and brag to his friends only to get caught off-guard by the opponent he tought he just defeated. Makes sense since both Vegeta and Freeza have insane durability. Yamcha does his classic death-pose (just noticed this forum doesn't have the death-pose emoticon) and someone somehow comes-back with another time-machine (again this is DragonBall Super so who cares?) and
's at Yamcha, saves him and takes him back to the normal time-line. There Yamcha is in the hospital bed and gets yelled at for breaking the time-travelling law or something (you know that mortals aren't allowed to time-travel) by Bills and Whis and whoever-else is there for such a petty reason.
End of story.
Please let this be the next side-story.
