Imagine Cui beating the piss out of Goku and forcing him to nearly destroy his body with Kaioken x3

Cui is too squishy. Vegeta’s legendary durability makes all the difference. :bog

Likely because Goku had the strain of a Kaioken x3 I think, so he couldn't be as effective, like right on there, with the calm mind, of a 24k fighter. Vegeta is more durable tho, at least in the Saiyans saga, he had am insane plot shield durability there to make him impressive and unkillable. He didn't seem to have the same resistance vs Monster Zarbon whose gap over Vegeta was lilely even less than 1.25x.

Vegeta's durability is still through the roof. He took a beating from Kkx3 Goku, got KKx4 Kamehameha'd, got freaking Spirit Bomb'd, Oozaru Gohan landed on him. No one has ever took as savage a beating as Vegeta has, and he kept on coming. The dude was straight Terminator, Michael Myers, Undertaker level horrifying. He was such a menace. Earth to Namek Vegeta is about as epic as we get in the villain/anti-hero territory.

Vegeta just has plot-based durability. The 4x Kaioken Kamehameha should have flat-out killed him.

Imagine the Galick Gun nullifies some of the force of the KKx4 KHH and it can make some sense that Vegeta survives.
That actually makes a lot of sense given that the loser of every beam struggle in the series survived other than SPC

Cui was a cookie cutter alien PM who
just happens to have the same PL as
Vegeta, but didn’t have the skill, talent, potential or battle experience to back it all up.
That’s part of the reason he got dominated and blown up despite getting a cheap shot in.

I bet you even if they did an Oklahoma drill at the same PL, Vegeta would smash
Cui to bits.
Cui doesn’t have the testicular fortitude and
would crumble at the pressure emitted from
Vegeta and his masculine Saiyan body
oozing in hormones fanbuddy, and that’s
the truth brother.

Zarbon and Freeza disagree. They think Cui would win or at least wear Vegeta out enough to where he would be a non-threat.

Cui has no hugely amplified blasts or oozaru transformation. Goku would have won with no problems.
Why do Zarbon and Freeza think Cui has a good chance to beat Vegeta? Cui might have a slight power advantage over Vegeta.

I think Cui would give 18k Vegeta a good fight. Vegeta would win but it seemed from a narrative standpoint that it'd be tough for sure. His win would come due to his skills and innate warrior ability, but it'd be tough. The story seems to prioritise similar BPs in face of skills. Vegeta could make it easier by using some tactic like sand in the eyes like he did bs Monster Zarbon. I think his battle vs Monster Zarbon can be one in which they were dead even but Vegeta's battlefield expertise allowed it to be quick. Though Vegeta counted on Zarbon coming at him off guard. Cui would know Vegeta would have the same power as him so he wouldn't come off guard. In the end, Vegeta's tenacity and more ground knowledge would give him the win, but he wouldn't go out unharmed. Imagine something like Goku vs Piccolo Junior in the 23rd Budokai, with the exception of the surprise mouth blast, in which Goku's wits outsmarted him like using his own blast against Piccolo, tricking Piccolo to be giant.

Tbh Vegeta has shown great durability during the battle on Earth. I think his battle vs Cui reflects better what a 1.33x gap is supposed to do.

Most judge Vegeta vs Recoome as 1.33x as well and that wasn't nearly as one sided as Vegeta vs Cui. There Vegeta's tenacity could come into play, but it's also possible Recoome was playing with Vegeta a lot. He let himself be attacked, he was laughing through most of the battle, even wonders "don't you have anything else? So I'll have to kill you". So Recoome seemed more like in a playing mentality. Or maybe he was like 36k. But idk, the blatant 1.33x gap confirmation we got which was Vegeta vs Cui ended up in like 3 blows.
