Cell avoided confronting the Androids until he got strong enough to handle them together, dude. That isn't speculation since it's flat-out stated. We have literally the same Cell searching for them in his timeline to do the exact same thing. You just refuse to admit that you're wrong.

Nothing infers he lost power.

We're shown that Cell was simply looking for the Androids, nothing more. He could have definitely orchestrated something after finding out they're still alive, but once he knows they're dead, he's forced to change his plans.

We're shown that Cell doesn't need to be stronger than Trunks in order to get passed him, in the same sense that he doesn't need to be stronger than the Androids in order to get passed them.

Seriously, nothing shows you're speculative bullshit and you're making things up. You have no statements.

Future Cell: “Trunks…All of your data has been scanned by the spy robot…With your power, you couldn’t possibly defeat No.17 or No.18, let alone me…”

Future Cell > future Androids.

Also, the Cell who couldn't defeat these cyborgs (as proved by EV) came from a different timeline. As far as we know, the Androids of that timeline could very well be = present Androids.

I have no statements?

I have Cell trying to find the Androids upon activation. If we follow your nonsense, Cell was looking for an early dirt nap just because.

This same Cell is so cautious that he wants no parts of the Androids until after he absorbs a lot of humans.

Future Cell goes to confront Trunks and is shocked to learn that someone he thought was a weakling compared to the Androids was able to defeat them. Even after noting Trunks' improvement, Cell still thought he could take Trunks.

Seriously, you have nothing.

What do you have right now? Future Cell (Trunks' timeline) > future Androids > Imperfect Cell (Ginger Town)?

Yeah, that's how I'd rank them.

I think Imperfect Cell (Ginger Town) was stronger than the future Androids though.

Evidence shows that Imperfect Cell of the current timeline was unable to defeat the Androids, despite absorbing Piccolo's energy and the energy of an unspecified amount of people. It's an unknown for you to use this as anything.

You have posted no evidence whatsoever, for several pages at least. You keep speculating on an unknown and making up logic where no statements exist to support it.

Chapter: 364 (DBZ 170), P8.3
Cell: “I’ll keep absorbing human life energy unnoticed, and steadily increase my power. And once I’ve greatly exceeded the power of No.17 and No.18, I’ll force them to merge with me…!”
Imperfect Cell is capable of sensing them, all he knew when he was initiated is that he couldn't for some reason, so he went looking. But he couldn't find them, but what he did find out is that Trunks had a time machine so he decided to kill him and take it, and look in the past.

Conclusion: Bodied.

Actually, all that scan proves is that there were remaining humans within his own timeline (and there were) and Cell simply absorbed people until he would become strong enough to absorb the Androids himself. But Trunks killed them, so he was forced to resort to another plan, which was to sneak up on him and murder Trunks and steal the time machine.

There is still no evidence to determine that Cell was stronger than he was in the present or future timelines.

Cell can't sense the Androids. He had to sense Piccolo's Chi to actually locate them. He has data on them :facepalm2

You bodied no one but yourself with that nonsense.

Cell is undoubtably an android (jinzouningen); he refers to himself as such when he introduces himself. Yet Android 16 is able to gauge his strength, as is everyone else. Why shouldn't he be capable of sensing the Androids? When he was Semi-Perfect, he stated that he didn't care about becoming perfect because he already regarded himself as the strongest on Earth.

Chapter: 355 (DBZ 161), P8.5
Trunks: “They’re also somewhat different from the androids I know…They weren’t as outrageously strong as this…Even I could fight them fairly well…”

Future Cell could be weaker than the present Androids while simultaneously being stronger than the future ones. Nothing is wrong with this.

Because Cell is entirely different than the Androids. They're equipped with an infinite reactor, he isn't.

Cell: “This fierce ki belongs to Piccolo, now that he’s merged with God...! And the only opponents who he’d fight with this much power are…No.17 and No.18! I’ve found you! What good timing! I’ll be there soon! Just you wait! My power already surpasses yours!”

There. Cell is able to locate the Androids because Piccolo's power is what alerted him. He can't sense the Androids. He has data on the Androids.

That still leaves my secondary point as uncontradicted.

There are many scans that show there were many people left on Earth,, Trunks even pushed Cell out of the city to avoid hurting civilians. The events within Trunks's own timeline heavily reflect the events that occurred with the Cell that came from another timeline and attacked the Earth that we saw in the Manga. Because:

a) The Cell whom attacked present day Earth had to sneak up on Trunks to defeat him and steal his time machine after realizing that the Androids were gone.
b) The Cell in Trunks's timeline was doing the exact same thing directly after Trunks murders Android 18 and 17. However, he regards himself as stronger than the two.
c) The Cell in the present timeline stated that he had to power-up in order to force them into being absorbed.

Conclusion: Regardless of whatever version Cell is had to absorb people in order to gain the upper-hand on the Androids. The one from Trunks's timeline obviously did just that before he recognized that the Androids were gone.

Nothing infers that Cell's battle power had changed from Trunks's timeline, so obviously he should remain the same.

He pushed him out of the city because he didn't want their hardwork into rebuilding West City to go to waste. Trunks told Gohan that the population was reduced to the ten thousands after traveling back in the past for a second time. We know the Androids were continuing to destroy while Trunks was away, so that population would continue to dwindle.

a) Where is this stated? Cell just says he killed him and took the time machine. Even the anime shows Trunks catching Cell before he could sneak up.
b) Ok.
C) Yeah, while avoiding the Androids. He didn't avoid the Androids in his time because he was already above them. Cell never makes any note of the Androids being different. As far as he's concerned, the Androids are exactly the same. The only difference was #16's presence.

Your conclusion is wrong. It's never said he needed any humans. He simply went to find the Androids upon activation and realized that they were gone. Future Cell also has the same exact aura as Imperfect Cell post-humans does. Gingertown Cell has a shitty little aura at best. They're not the same power and the artwork proves you wrong.

a) It was implied when Cell snuck up to Trunks.
c) There is no reason to assume Cell was different. Nothing infers so, but evidence implies he is different in battle power from the Androids upon activation.

Imperfect Cell in Trunks timeline can simply be close enough to the future Androids to only require a few thousand people to surpass. There is nothing wrong with this.

a) Trunks sensed his presence. We're never given any reason to believe Cell couldn't handle Trunks.
b) The Cells are the same upon activation. We see how weak Cell is after regressing into a larva state for four yrs.

Cell after absorbing over a hundred thousand humans:

Future Cell at full-power:

The artwork tells us all we need to know. There's also nothing wrong with actually assuming Cell went to look for the Androids after being activated just like he said, either.

a) Cell was able to locate him, he sensed something. Suppression doesn't work.

Actually, Future Cell is sweating, he's clearly intimidated. All the artwork shows us is that by absorbing people, he powers up. He very well could have done the same and made a moderate increase, but enough to surpass the Future Androids, which are considerably weaker than the present ones.

a) Cell located him because he sensed him.

Cell was sweating because he got hit by a kiai and just recovered from it. His aura matches that of the other Cell that absorbed countless people. There weren't many left to begin with, so he would've never gotten that powerful through absorption alone. After three yrs went by, Cell immediately came for Trunks upon being activated similar to the other Cell. There was no absorption being done in that time. It's also counterproductive to let a monster suck up the scarce amount of humans left when you're trying to rebuild the future. It actually makes no sense.

You do understand the connotation when saying "let alone me" when comparing yourself to someone else right? It implies that if trunks couldn't defeat them that he couldn't possible defeat cell because he was stronger.

Which makes perfect sense considering cells power shouldn't be too different between time periods where the androids in goku's time are far far stronger.
