That's the feeling i got. Does that mean he's stronger than Kaioshin? Doesn't make much sense.

The Grand Kaio in the Otherworld Tournament tells Goku he needs to train for another 200 to 300 years as an excuse to get out of training with him, and follows that up by saying he couldn't keep up with Goku. He is not superior.
