Back in the day I thought the Gorosei might just be masterminds and not actually powerful fighters, but now it seems they're even stronger than Kizaru (or is that just due to their immortality? I've not read it).
So if the Gorosei are so strong, it seems the leader of the Revolutionaries - who is being set up to topple the Gorosei and as maybe the biggest threat of all to the WG ("world's worst criminal") - must also be incredibly strong. So he's probably comparable to the Gorosei.
Plus we know Sabo is capable of holding his own against Fujitora and Dragon will be stronger than him, if OP is following "the leader is the strongest", which seems to be the case (makes me wonder how strong Sengoku and Kong are. Maybe when Sengoku was promoted he was the strongest Admiral, but then was declining and at Marineford he could have already declined to being weaker than Aokiji/Akainu. Or maybe he was promoted for his mind rather than fighting ability - but that seems unlikely to me now, seeing as Akainu and Aokiji have totally different personalities and fought to become Fleet Admiral, plus Sengoku's personality is totally different to Akainu's - though, it's possible the personality criteria during the time of Sengoku's promotion was different, because Roger and Rocks were dead and Luffy wasn't an issue yet - Sengoku was promoted during a time of relative placidity, while Kong and Akainu were promoted during times in which the WG would want someone more ruthless in charge...but the relatively nonchalant and forgiving Aokiji being in the running makes that theory pretty irrelevant).
Dragon is also the son of Garp and father to Luffy, so it makes sense he'll be somewhere around the strength of both of them, and even old Garp is likely strong enough to defeat an admiral (judging by how badly marineford WB ravaged Akainu and Garp feeling confident going to rescue Koby from Blackbeard). Plus Dragon is younger than Garp and we know Kidd, Luffy, Law, Zoro etc are getting stronger still as they get older, so based on age Dragon's likely the strongest of the family.
We also know that what separates the absolute strongest from the extremely strong is mastery of Conqueror's Haki. It's not simply an alternative to a DF power or to raw strength - it is actually a necessity to compete at the highest levels, as Kaidou said during his fight with Luffy. The original four yonkou have formidable Conqueror's. Well, Luffy and Garp both have it too, so Dragon's is probably up there too. The guy who's going against the entire government has to have ridiculous Conqueror's. Just based on that alone, he could be stronger than every pirate or marine. It's kinda lame to me if the MC's dad is literally the strongest and I was hoping it wouldn't be that the most powerful (Gorosei, Dragon) or the highest bounty characters are the strongest, but I was hoping Dragon would be at least strong enough to compete with the admirals.
The only thing that could point to him being weaker is that he isn't in active combat and he hasn't been shown to do any training. However, the Gorosei also weren't in active combat and I get the impression they just sat around talking, so maybe it doesn't matter. Plus he could be training off-camera (in OP you don't seem to need a strong training partner to get stronger (most of the SHs gains came without training partners) and even if training without someone to push you hard is submaximal, he's had plenty of time to train).
Is there much chance of Dragon simply being as strong as Fujitora, or as strong as the Marineford admirals? Is there much chance of him being below the Yonkou?
