Is it true that Broly RSSJ is stronger than the combined Dragon team in M8? And another question, how powerful is Goku SSJ (M8)?

And another question, how powerful is Goku SSJ (M8)?

M8 premiered between episodes 174 and 175 of the Anime, which means that Goku had already shown his 50%. Does it mean that Goku SSJ (M8) = Goku MSSJ (50%)?

RSSJ was the Broly that fought Base Goku. That’s SSJ Broly you’re thinking of.

And no, he isn’t. Even LSSJ Broly lost when the Z Fighters combined their powers. Goku got excited when he saw SSJ Broly tank Super Vegeta, so SSJ Broly isn’t that much stronger than SSJ Goku.

I think SSJ Goku (Movie 8) = MSSJ Goku (50%). That’s the highest level of Goku seen in the series.

He's stronger than them separated, but he isn't stronger than all of them together.

Sharing energy is not just adding ki, but far more than that. Considering that Piccolo send flying 4th form Freeza with Gohan & Krillin's ki while them teaming up were useless and not even for a warm up.

Plus, Broly is stated to not be able to be defeated by orthodoxe methods.

Maybe, I can see Goku's final attack being like the Genki-Dama. But fighting together is less than addition, so not a good comparison.

Considering how DB works I say that it does, Majin Buu is too powerful for SSJ2 Goku & Majin Vegeta before powering up again, but Goku thinks they by teaming up they could win (without knowing his hax, of course).

Then there are concepts such as Fusion being more than the sum of its components.

Jeice and Burta fought together against Goku and got completely demolished. Piccolo and Kuririn were also powerless against Nappa, and so were Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo against the Androids to a point even adding Goku would've made no difference. Piccolo and Gohan were of no use for Vegeta against Freeza, nor were Kami and the humans against Piccolo.

Maybe Super can treat it as addition since it's more teamwork-friendly, but teamwork never meant anything in the old series.

Thing is, that you're ignoring context, Goku can do this and that because he is constantly luring them and making them think a different power level he is actually using. Of course it'd be worthless, they have to resort to strategies to an opponent that they have to manage and is superior to them.

As for Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo vs Androids, well everyone got different opponents and the only one that could actually do something was Vegeta, who was drained and with one arm broken.

Yes, 4th form Freeza was on another dimension to anyone on there, so? Only Goku could keep up with him.

Also, considering how Toei works, it's pretty much the case as seen with Goku & Vegeta destroying a Metal Cooler.
