Is it worth giving power levels to Gotenks before his SSJ3 form?

It is obvious that all the previous versions of Gotenks served purely gag purposes. Is it worth using them in a PL list to unnecessarily inflate the power levels?

No, it isn't. If being strict, Gotenks isn't that much ahead of Goku even on equal forms.

Ultimate Gohan must be on a different plane of being to SSJ3 Goku regardless, so same with Gotenks I'd think. It's been said a million times in the series that Gohan has way more potential than Goku & this time Gohan had his potential un-locked even further from his normal potential.

Yo people, hope all of you are well. I was just thinking about the whole Gotenks debacle once again recently. It's an area I feel like I was never able to perfect. Such a tough issue.

If you take things at face value, it leads to either the Super Saiyan boost being close to around 10x, which is backed up by Gero's statements as well as overall feel.

Super Saiyan being 10x feels backed up by CG/Buu Saga Base/SSJ powers as well.


Base Teen Gohan >> Pui Pui >> Kaioshin > Piccolo

Means that our perception of base power is way off on many levels.

I think I'd like to work on this issue with you guys once again and see what we can come up with.

Base Gotenks > Ssj Gotenks >>= Ssj3 Goku > Base Gotenks > Majin Vegeta

Is the chain I'd like to make work numerically.

If Super Saiyan is only 10x, we can easily make Base Gotenks that strong and not be forced to have Super Saiyan 3 all that strong. But it's a tough issue for sure.

I think AT lost sight of just how big his implied multipliers were and is not able to accurately portray the gap that has been forced upon the series.

Yoshi, hope you are holding up well brother. I'm doing good over here, life is good! I'm as lean as I've been in a long time and I'm super jakked. Life is good.

Yeah, I'd say the gap between Kaioshin and Piccolo is quite large, but I do think Gohan is still steadily above Pui Pui. Pui Pui is seen as quite a joke, I don't think he can be competitive with Gohan, but I'd have to check some of the facial reactions by Gohan of Vegeta vs Pui Pui.

I think Base Saiyans are monsters of epic proportion and are severely rated even to this day.

Kaioshin is probably 1.5-2x minimum above Piccolo, and remember, Base Saiyans Expected should be above Kaioshin by something decent, yet Pui Pui thinks he can still get it done.

Pui Pui should probably be at least 2x Kaioshin. Which is just absurd, but should be well founded.

I think Gohan vs Pui Pui can be whatever. There’s no limit to how weak he can be. Piccolo vs Shin is big for sure.
