Is the current arc salvageable?

In terms of Super at least, is this arc still salvageable? I have yet to be interested in any of the current plot lines and have no idea what could change that. What could possibly improve this arc at this point?

Honestly? I don't think it is salvageable, the whole thing is simultaneously trite and boring.

They just went past the salvageable point last chapter. The Heeters were this saga’s ace in the hole, but when their time came they just did the same old wish as Granolah.

Agreed. I think the wish to become the strongest in the universe is absurdly inconsistent with what we know about the limits of the Dragon Balls, but even with that aside, it is incredibly lazy writing in itself. It's also very similar to Namek when everyone was chasing the DBs for immortality. Now we have shifted to being the world's strongest. The first time I could maybe tolerate it if shoving aside the inconsistency factor, but twice? That's just straight

I'm all for them exploring more of the Saiyan stuff and that's good enough for me.
