Not just for DBZ, but for other anime too (posting in the DBZ section for better exposure).

English VAing for anime overall doesn't have a great rep. For those of you who speak another language and watched dubs in languages other than English or Japanese, is the English dub any worse or better than dubs in other languages? Or if you can't compare with English dubs, you can just say whether your language's dubs have a similarly bad rep of being cringey or inferior to the Japanese or not.

Talking about the PT-PT or Greek DBZ dubs is low-hanging fruit, so forget it.

From random clips that I've seen they all seem pretty bad in comparison to the OG. The Canadian blue water dub was straight ass.

At least when Funimation made things somewhat comedic it offset the poor quality.

The Spanish dub was good, the Japanese one feels like the pacing is slow.

I think it was even worse than Yu Yu Hakusho or Rurouni Kenshin, but mainly because of Bruce Faulconer.
