The fight between Vegeta and Bojack doesn't bother me since Bojack dominated 95% of the fight.

Bocack's gang having no issue fighting Trunks and Gohan, yet cowering when Vegeta shows up and flares his aura, allowing him to fight Bocack directly. Badass, but it's an inconsistency with their characters.

Tien having an edge on Base Trunks & being capable of keep up with SSjin Trunks's speed for several seconds is a bit inconsistent to me.
There is also Weighted Piccolo being capable of deflecting Bojack's Galactic Buster(which was supposed to kill Gohan) with a uncharged SBC. Piccolo also puts up a relatively decent fight against Base Bojack, even managing to deflect a blast, keep up with his moves and counterattack one of his punches, which is somewhat better than Vegeta's performance.

The producers of the anime always seemed to like Piccolo more than most of the other characters. For instance, on the episode where Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks and the humans fight the Androids for the first time, the narrator states "even Vegeta and Piccolo could not stand up to the power of the Androids" or something like that, while ignoring Trunks completely, which heavily implies Anime Piccolo(Pre-Kami Fusion) >> SSjin Trunks(Android Arc).

Anime Piccolo (especially Super and GT) apparently takes ass and chews names... other than that whole Zarbon/Shisami spectacle.

The anime also throws Piccolo a bone by touting him as one of the three likely replacements for Goku when he quits against Cell along with Vegeta and Trunks.

Also, Piccolo did better against the Cell Jrs than Vegeta and Trunks did in the anime. He pretty much stopped fighting his Cell Jr for a few seconds just to talk to Yamcha, and then he turned and easily swiped him away.

Krillin is the strongest human and was destroyed by Human cyborg.

I always took that as them covering their eyes from the bright ass aura in their face. I mean, when Gohan changed into Super Saiyan 2 and flared his aura, Bojack looked terrified, but his henchmen kept the same smug look on their face while doing that stupid psychic attack.

Well, I don't know if Piccolo pre-kami was above SSJ Trunks, but he wasn't much weaker either. SSJ Vegeta, who was clearly stronger than Trunks, would've lost against A20 after A19 had absorbed his strength (and A19 had to absorb 25% of SSJ Vegeta's strength at the very best) and Piccolo stomped A20 like it was nothing.
I would say that Piccolo had the same strength as Trunks SSJ back then.

The only inconsistency I can think of in M9 is Trunks needing SSJ to beat Tien, yet Tien was insta KO'd by who was that Bido? While SSJ Trunks was fighting evenly with Zangya before the other 2 Herans stepped in.

Could we count Trunks in Base Form fighting with Kogu for a short while as an inconsistency or are we accepting that he's considerably weaker than the other Herans?
