Yeah this is the problem with TOEI and Toyo, they have no idea how this series works with implications and gap logic previously established for decades.
They constantly have people “holding their own” who have no business doing so.

Base Goku fought Jiren off screen for an extended amount of time during the ToP. Android 18 was also fighting Prime Moro for a while alongside 17, though I can see her getting a mega power up.

Base Goku never fought Jiren. He was SSJB from the beginning I think.

and yeah I wouldn’t be surprised. Super hands out fusion level boosts mid fight like they have absolutely no respect for the series at all. Damn shame.

Toyotaro did Goku so dirty in the tournament man. He just fought Jiren the whole time and had 0 eliminations. Manga Jiren is even dumber for wasting 45 minutes clowning Goku without eliminating him.

I just learned about that through you. Apparently it’s gonna start with a Goten and Trunks one off, which what he does best. After that? Who knows.

Moro Saga had the least AT involvement, so maybe something like that. He took that saga to delve into the Kaioshin lore, so I can expect something on the same vibe as Daima.

I wonder if we get to EoZ or wait they can’t do EoZ until Black Freeza Saga is resolved, right?

I don’t have much faith it’ll all work it but I’ll tune in for sure.

Yeah, his Goten and Trunks stuff is fun! I wish Super focused more on slice of life kind of storytelling, the main story should be over for the most part.
