Gohan was just the chosen one and that’s why he could lift the sword from its pedestal. LOL.

Sure, but Gohan's strength is what gets Shin motivated to try the Z-Sword approach.

On the other hand, it makes no sense for Mr. Buu to have substantial power outside of Kid Buu. Fat Buu must be all Dai Kaioshin's power, otherwise, it makes no sense. Mr. Buu's power must come from somewhere and it can't be Kid Buu.

Maybe. South Kaioshin is the only one you can really make an argument for IMO.
Damn, we just have so little information on the Kaioshins. You think we'd have more with an entire series post-Buu Saga. And the stuff we have hasn't really added anything to the lore here in regards to this time period.

Dai Kaioshin being anywhere near Blue level is such a joke.

Isn’t South Kaioshin really strong in Super as well?

I'm not sure? I have to read the Moro Saga over again.
I could've sworn he was fighting Moro with Dai Kaioshin. I can;t remember either though lol.

Either way my opinion has not been taking Super into account. South Kaioshin at least has a solid statement that places him in a higher tier of power. I'm fine with arguing that he never attempted to pull out the sword (still odd though). The rest of the Kaioshin have absolutely nothing going for them though.

This is all. Moro was throwing rocks at Dai Kaioshin and South was just watching. Come on.

South Kaioshin implies that he and Dai Kaioshin are similar in power to one another.

South’s participation in the fight is literally that of a bystander. There’s some hard reaching here that I feel is just to validate this “Super has bad power scaling” pov.

South Kaioshin is speaking about the pair of them as if they are both capable of resisting Moro, if only slightly. He doesn't say that only Dai Kaioshin is resisting.

How many Lords of Lords have tried to pull it after Kid Buu killed them all?
Your implied point is frankly ridiculous. The meaning is that any god that had the opportunity to try, did try, and failed.

Before anyone says "they don't say all kaioshin tried", the Z-Sword did not exist through all time, so it would be impossible for all kaioshin to try, and thus it would be improper for Kibito or Shin to say that.

“Resisting” is pretty much just surviving. It’s clear they’re in no condition to engage Moro directly, and he’s not even taking the Kaioshins seriously.
