Lord Slug was the ruler of namek when Frieza invaded?

Instead of just namekians being slaughtered left and right by Frieza and his army there was a war going on between Frieza's army and Slugs army.

What do you think Gohan and Co. would've done, oh and Vegeta as well. Would he have done his own thing still or would he have 'joined' Slugs side?

Well that much is obvious. I was asking if you thought it would be interesting. How do you think an interaction between Slug and Vegeta or Frieza would play out?

Oh and another question, how does Slugs main henchmen compare to Zarbon and Dodoria/ The Ginyu Force?

A struggle for control of the DBs sounds interesting.

How do you think an interaction between Slug and Vegeta or Frieza would play out?

Vegeta and Freeza takes turns attacking Slug because he is the one who knows how to uses the DBs. Eventually, one of them sucker punch the other, then it becomes a free for all. After 5 episodes, Freeza decided to finally transform all the way, then easily kill Vegeta and nearly kill Slug. With his dying breath, Slug laugh and tell him he screw himself over. Slug die. Freeza goes back to his spaceship and find the DBs has been turn to stones. Realizing what Slug meant, Freeza rage quit and blow up Namek.

Well, there's no doubt that Slug and Freeza will meet each other sooner than later. Since Vegeta has an ability to sense now then he'll probably not bother to confront Slug at all instead he'll let the two tyrants go each other. We must remember that Freeza would have destroy everyone but he doesn't have an ability to sense hence he waited for the Ginyu Force to arrive.

And since Slug is in his younger version of himself because he has the DBs with him then the fight with Freeza will be huge but gets destroyed once Freeza transform into his final form.

What would the odds be of Slug just murdering Frieza before he can transform?

Slug would have wished for immortality by the time Freeza arrived (i know he didn't in the movie,
but, over the years on Namek, it would've occured to him at some point). And, since he's not a
Saiyan and does not care about fighting for sport, he'd have killed Freeza before he could transform.
Therefore, Vegeta, Goku and Z fighters are also eventually killed by the immortal Slug.
