Obviously busy making toast again.
They would've been made just as bad in premise and quality even if Goku and Vegeta were used. The main reason Broly appeared three times was because he was popular and had a premise easier to market for sequels, nothing more and nothing less.Pakl said:The movie was terrible anyway almost like Bio Broli. Those two movies were just made like that because Goku and Vegeta could not be used yet.

Also, Movie 11 isn't even that bad compared to Movie 10. Movie 11 is just a mediocrity, whereas Movie 10 is founded on a huge plot hole/retcon.

Koyama's interview where he talks about Broly being the strongest Saiyan makes it pretty apparent that his appearance and the marketing behind it was the main reason. Him not being in Movie 9 was because Toei attempted to try to add someone different and, as pretty evident, Bojack had neither the marketing potential or popularity of Broly; a venture tried and failed. A lack of story progression is irrelevant when there was arguably even less story progression tied to Movies 2 and 3, yet the former is one of the more original scenarios out of the DBZ films. This idea of little story progression being a factor for Movie 11 bringing Broly back is simply untrue when the plot of the film itself is something that would remain unchanged whether the villain was Broly or some generic monster.Pakl said:Broli was brought back because of popularity but the reason was because there was no progression at the story as they could not use Goku and Vegeta. If it was just popularity they would bring him back in movie 9
Exactly, you are right my friend. It's worth noting though that, as I said, that can also be applied to Base Goku's fight with SSJ Broly in Movie 8, with him doing better than SSJ Vegeta did. It's also worth noting that anime filler seems to present either the kids as far weaker than they should be or Base Gohan as far stronger than he should be, with there being a filler scene where he goes toe-to-toe with SSJ Goten before going SSJ.
Why the hell wasn't Popo chosen for the ToP?
He isn't a deity, he is an assistant for a deity (Kami/Dende). Same way Karin also isn't a deity, and same way that Zamasu and Kibito aren't legit Kaioshins, just assistants.I'm pretty sure deities can't compete, otherwise the Hakaishins would've participated. Even Shin's worthless ass would've been a better addition than the humans.
Pecking order. Why the hell wasn't Popo chosen for the ToP?
SSJ Broly >>>Zen-ohThis thing again? Sigh
SSJ Broly >>>Zen-oh
Movie 10 Gohan is the same weaker Gohan from the Boo Arc. Damn.. Stop making shits up.M10 Gohan>=Cell Games Gohan>>Cell Games Goku
Gohan stomps.
M8 Gohan was one of the weaker fighters in that movie. It didnt seem like he was stronger than Goku, Vegeta or Trunks. You could have him power up to where hes stronger than his m8 self, but still around his buu saga self.Gohan says he’s much stronger since the last time he fought Broly though.
I place movies where they make the most sense. Movie 10 makes the most sense after Buu Saga, in a timeline where either Vegeta successfully took Fat Buu with him when he selfdestructed or Goku fought him all the way as an SSJ3. Therefore, this is Gohan post Z-Sword.Movie 10 Gohan is the same weaker Gohan from the Boo Arc. Damn.. Stop making shits up.
