What matchup would you like to see go down, and who do you think would win?

I'd like to see a Vegeta vs Piccolo when they were close in power like in the Future Trunks' 1st show up, preferably when Vegeta still hadn't solidified himself as a Z warrior. Both are very clever fighters and have never switched hands.

As far as future matches go, I want to see Gohan vs 17 just to get a gist of how big the gap is between them. I know 17 would spam his barrier, but Gohan's ability to deal with that would help decipher the gap.

And of course, UI Goku vs Beerus, all-out. But I can wait because I know Goku is inferior right now.

Goku vs Vegeta (Androids Arc, pre ROSAT); the only time in the series they were truly equal.

Goku vs either 17 or 18 during the Android Saga. All that hype about being programmed to kill Goku and they never even met during that time. Goku would have to be above his @19 self but pre RoSaT, so if there's a sweet spot in the middle, that's where I'd want him to make this an even battle.

If I had to pick one of them I'd probably go with 18 just because we've gotten a lot more of 17 over time.

Concerning the original manga, I can't think of any point that would've significantly improved with the appearance of another fight. Maybe SS2 Gohan and SPC having a full fight if at least just to clear up any power debate on the two, but that's about it.
