My main issue is that Tao Pai Pai's feats are just absurd. That pillar throw is just beyond anything any animal can contend with.

Imagine Tao chucking that pillar right at Mega Rex. That thing is going right through bro like butter.

Yeah, I feel like a major threshold was passed here with Tao's feat. So I try to respect it as much as possible. Tao should be on a completely different level than anything else shown before.

He got killed by a grenade though. The Goku that beat him was scared by a missle that barely destroyed a chunk of a mountain.

DB has alot of antifeats mixed in with the incredible ones.

How is this problematic? Goku takes on a rocket launcher and a sniper bullet with ease. You calling a nuke a missile is hilarious. That thing Black launched is probably more devastating than any nuke launched in our existence.

We do not currently have the tech to blow up an entire mountain. Roshi's first Kamehameha scales beyond damn near every blast in Dragon Ball up until Kikoho I think.

Vegeta's Big Bang Attack that gave 18 some damage did nowhere near the damage Roshi's Kamehameha did.

Damage is not really a huge factor in discerning how strong blasts are.

There's no way that thing can take a kamehameha and live. Even a blue whale or crocodile probably can't handle a moderately powerful bomb blast. It wouldn't survive the injury. But without ki blasts I'll pick it.

Krillin and Yamcha ran from a much smaller dinosaur during their post-21st TB training. So maybe it was too strong to defeat or just too risky. It is possible they ran out of choice but could have comfortably defeated it or they were just afraid of it, similar to a human being scared of creatures it could kill if not afraid. Goten and Trunks run from a dinosaur in Yo! Son Goku and Friends, but obviously they could kill it.

In my opinion,granpa gohan is a skilled human martial artist,but he's still human.Mega rex has far greater raw strenght and durability,so the fight isn't really close.Granpa gohan can use ki,but in classic db his power level isn't high enough to overcome Mega rex's massive size,durability,and raw strength,His ki is more about technique than overwhelming destruction.
