Monster -- question

Would you say Johan is a psychopath? Cold blooded? Or still someone that, rather than deriving pleasures from his actions, was taking all the hatred he had in him?

Might be kinda stupid question, it's been a while I've watched it so I'm not so on point with Monster.

I think he was made sociopathic due to his life circumstances. The series doesn't seem to imply he was born remorseless, hence the whole explanation that Nina was the one who experienced the cruel events at that hellhole but Johan was the one who internalized those memories as his own and became the titular "monster."

He most likely wasn’t born a psychopath, but it’s possible that he was triggered to become one.

Pretty sure the (mostly arbitrary) distinction between a sociopath and a psychopath is that the latter are simply born that way while sociopaths have inclinations for ASPD but it's triggered through abuse and trauma.
