Good Boo is just over estimate because he landed 1 punch or 2. Ooh lala, he would have died twice whereas Vegeta didn't.

Should we ignore Pure Boo's reactions to both fighters in this case?

That would just be subjective. His "reactions" won't prove anything since Vegeta never engaged in battle with him in the way that Mr. Boo did.

Vegeta didn't even try to fight back though. Is that the non-conventional way?

I guess if you're hitting that route, there's nothing left to say. Playing possum fits him well.

If Boo didn't have regen, he may well be more inclined to tank a blast rather than rely on regen. As it is, most forms of Boo show no regard for their body.

It'd be better than leaving himself wide open. Defending is always better than giving up and preparing the angus for a good peppering.

He's going to get destroyed whether he defends or not. It literally makes no difference at all. It a car runs you over at 100 miles per hour, it would make no difference if you defend your self or not. He's not trying to win, just to hold him off for Goku. The first thing he does is blow off half his body and then spams him with Ki blasts. Then after that he just gets destroyed. You act as if he's standing there with his hands behind his back asking to be hit

Buu has never shown huge strength differences that lead us to believe he can tank a high Ssj2 tier power.

He's only 2.5x Teen Gohan.

He can't tank bullets, though. According to this reasoning, Kid Goku > Fat Boo.

Buu has shown the ability to tank bullets. He alters his durability at will, it's common knowledge.

However, in a real battle against a strong opponent, he's never been in his own league of power. All we see is over-powered fan theories that do not correlate with the feats.

Why do you fail to understand that Boo's body isn't durable ? It's easily destroyed by any ki blast for example ? Though even then, he never take true physical damages, until Good Boo VS Evil Boo, and Good Boo VS Kid Boo.

SSJ2 Teen Gohan is a weakling compared to even Kid Gohan, himself slightly weaker than Majin Vegeta. Yet, Fat Boo is stated to be able to take care of 3 SSJ2s at the same time, which invalidate this statement anyways.

FutureProtagonist debunked this anyways...

His ability to alter his durability would give him the durability to tank anybody -if he was really in a league of his own. You only need to be 25% stronger than a power level to destroy any amount of them. So it doesn't really invalidate anything. Goku had a 50% gap and he effortlessly blitz'd 3 power levels 50% weaker than himself. Buu never demonstrated such a power difference.

Fat Boo being implied to be 2.5x Teen Gohan, puts him in between 25%-50% stronger than the Ssj2s, so not bad. But we never really see strength from him to prove he's in the latter range.

1)I don't really like made-up rules for the gaps, especially when they are inconsistents. It's not like AT calculated each one BP's to establish the feats. If he had dropped the power levels, it's for a reason. Fat Boo demonstrated his strength against SSJ3 Goku. Even if he was holding back, he was depicted as far stronger than SSJ2-tier.

2)He's never implied to be so. It's only your interpretation and nothing else, which still had flaws. For example, according to Kai, even generic blast could revive Fat Boo.
