It’s all good bro, don’t force yourself if there’s no time. If I get ahead then I’ll start putting my comments in spoilers and tag which episode they are regarding.

Catching up. Finally finished the rest of episode one.

I'm pretty indifferent towards it. Not in love with the show (at least not yet) but it's a satisfactory pilot and I think it did a good job at introducing the main cast, what they do and giving us a story and conclusion. For 1998, and for a pilot, I think a lot of these visuals are very ambitious, and I really love a lot of the sci-fi scenery. There were also some funny moments here and there.

6/10.

Yea o thought the same of ep 1. It seems so damn rare for an anime to have a truly engaging first episode. Most manga I read feel more engaging off the bat whereas anime take a few episodes to pull you in. Hopefully this one pulls you in quickly.

I think Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood did a good job at a pilot.

About bebop, In episode 1 where he meets the crook in the bathroom, the villain is panting. The main character (forgot his name) says "it's better to leave the water running so you don't clog the drain."

What is he talking about? Given the context, I think he's talking about whacking it in the sink?! :wat
