Nappa's Battle Power

How can people claim it's 4,000 or even 4,500 (as I've seen) when Vegeta himself says Nappa will beat Goku if he calms down. Vegeta with an extensive knowledge of battle powers would just lie? Then further on Kaioken Goku at 16,000 is not able to do shit to 18,000 Vegeta? Yeah, claim gaps aren't consistent all you like faggots, but at the end of the day you're just ignorant if you fail to acknowledge Nappa's high power level.

I put Nappa at 7,200. Beyond the Daizenshuu saying so, people like to argue that Piccolo hurt him with a blast and Gohan's 2800 Masenko stung his hand. Which is, of course, ignoring the fact that Nappa could keep up with over 8,000 Goku after calming down, but I don't know what to say about that.

He clearly has different levels. Goku acknowledged his increase in power when he calmed down.

His battle power is honestly all sorts of fuckey, honestly

- Is sweating after the Kikoho, he clearly braced himself for it, and he even says "Don't scare me like that!" or something similar
- Gohan kicks him in the face and sends him flying through a big rock, Nappa comes out PISSED and bleeding
- Has his back burned by a little ki blast from Piccolo
- Gets smacked around by Krillin for a moment prior to the Kienzan
- Is told to watch out for that 2,800 Masenko by Vegeta
- Proceeds to fight evenly Goku who is over 8,000 after Vegeta tells him to calm down. This is after Nappa shit a brick when Vegeta said Goku was 5,000 when he was on his way

Toughness doesn't save him from a 2x higher opponent, especially when Goku and Vegeta who are apparently very tough as well continually lose against people not even close to twice as strong as they are.

Back a few years ago, I analyzed this issue, proving how and why Nappa is at the very least, in the 7k realm.

Like I said in another thread. Watching Kaboom freak out and lose his shit over people disagreeing with the 4k figure for him is both annoying and hilarious.

Kaboom literally once said "The only reason people can't accept Nappa being 4k is because they won't let it." Followed by other drivel which totally go against basic established shit in DB (not counting Super BS) that he likes to spout in other debates.

I have him from 4 to 5 k as the 'suicide squad' wasn't one shot and Goku wrecked him. I thought 7500 was very generous and more detached from reality. And I don't even give a fuck about the official 4,000.

He told Goku that they had power beyond imagination, and we know Nappa was the only one who's been fighting up to that point. Vegeta also didn't seem too alarmed when Goku was slowly raising his power, though it did get his attention. So with that, I don't believe Goku surpassed Nappa's level until he went to full-power. Once Nappa calmed down, I see him around the 7-7.5k range of power.

Agreed, similar to Piccolo's reaction when he thought Gohan wouldn't stand a chance againt Boo and where Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo thought Goku wouldn't stand a chance against initial Freeza.

Anyone thinking someone who is less than 50% of an opponent can actually trade blows counter for counter, they smokin' crack, yo!

Nappa at anything less than 6k minimum is laughable.

Of course, with all the crazy shit that's happened in Super, not like it HAS to be logical. So whateva....

Not really. Gohan powered-up before attacking Super Boo, so that isn't a good example. Gohan didn't have a higher level right off the bat. Goku got so strong after healing that Krillin thought Goku was a different person. I don't see anything said about his chances against Freeza.

Krillin made a similar statement like the Nappa one when Goku was ready to fight Reacoom with an "inferior" level of power, too. So the idea of it being based on drama doesn't necessarily change the point. But honestly, Krillin pointing out to Goku that their power is beyond imagination makes 0 sense if Goku is already way ahead of Nappa.
