No, it isn't saying something new...@Natasha Romanoff
The narrator is recounting the events as we were shown in Episode 65 so that would be the writers' interpretation of what happened. You present a bunch of hypotheticals with nothing clarifying why the narrator was holding back information and elaborating why that was the intent. The burden of proof is on you here.
"Zamasu and Black used the power of their Potara to fuse together. ...and become a god filled with light. Goku and friends fought bravely, but Zamasu displayed overwhelming power." = Zamasu didn't show anything new, at least something Goku Black couldn't do as he had on the ropes Goku and Vegeta, as well as Trunks being the weakest out of the three
"However, Vegeta and Trunks' Garlick Gun..." = Here is okay, but is omitted the fact that it managed to do other thing than to make him get angry
"...as well as Goku's Kamehameha began to bear down Zamasu." = Determine the outcome of something that hasn't even happened
Something productive doesn't say and is up to us watch the story as a whole or decide to trust him or not, especially when the narrator has already given wrong information.
Hiding information? No, it's saying something that hadn't happened, but would happen in a future. I highly doubt that the scriptors ever cared about something that is say on this, as well as I doubt that the interpreations of the facts relies on things that occured to be false such as Beerus using his full power against Goku or they ever planned on Mai to die against Goku Black, as opposed to what they script on there.
