It may be so, but it doesn't change the fact these differences ultimately don't change the core of the plot at all. It's to the point you're not missing out on any context if you skip the first two arcs. Honestly, I see no compelling reason to keep these adaptations around.

There are fleshed out concepts like Goku feeling bits of Ultra Instinct and the extended training scenes for Goku and Vegeta that provide more info about god forms. Then there's the setup for 17 to get a Bulma's ship.

What do you mean by "keep them around"? Like delete them from canon? Like Toei will come out and say "Ok guys the first two arcs of the DBS anime aren't canon anymore, just watch the movies, uk-yuk oh-hoh-hoh"?
