There are only 3 relevant time lines in the series. The main time line, trunks' timeline, and cell's timeline. The way timelines seem to split makes infinite timelines a possibility, but those are the only 3 worth caring about.

If there is a loop that is happening, which I'm not sure anymore.

But there's also a time-line we don't know anything about in which Trunks takes the remote and leaves that time-line (& then later gets killed by Cell in the original time-line).

Could Cell have woken-up in that time-line? I mean the time-machine was set to a year before Freeza coming to earth, so either-way if Cell was there, he showed-up before Trunks even warned them.

If Cell did wake-up I assume all 3 Super-Saiyans either defeated him together or Piccolo fused with Kami to defeat him.

He at-least went to the past twice, since he needed the remote to de-active the androids, so I assume Cell killed him when he tried to go back and tell everyone he defeated the androids.

There's 3 timelines that are actually talked about, but the Future Trunks that got killed by Cell has to have travelled to the past to get the remote or whatever, so there's definitely a timeline much like the current one where Cell hadn't also travelled back. Making there at least 4 timelines

Assuming they didn't use the Rosat, yes. Or, they could've escaped him and then used the Rosat to power up and defeat him, who knows.
