Oden 4th strongest in Rogers crew?

Saying this after the recent chapter doubling down on Ray and Gaban being the esteemed 2nd and 3rd respectively (or equal), how does Oden play a role in this hierarchy. I don’t recall if he’s considered a Roger member officially or honorary and whether he is being considered at all in the dialogue.

I believe he was considered an official member of the crew. He's without a doubt the 4th strongest as far as we know, unless the likes of Sunbell were also Yonko level.

Still holding out hope that Oda will actually show the Roger Pirates in greater detail at some point. The only real chance will be during the God Valley flashback but they weren't at their peak at that point.

I think God Valley will give us a good taste. Outside of that I'm not sure. The Wano flashback probably covered most of what Oda wanted to reveal about his voyage.

Mb theyll show during shanks fight, like show backstory of fighting techniques or show how Roger's crew protected or hid him at some point from the celestials. Or maybe theyll show how Roger was chased the final time to Raftel. Or how his crew was attacked after Roger surrendered himself to the marines.

So I've come across this panel recently again and had a realization thinking back on our debates with Shiki's strength. You often cite Garp/Sengoku deciding to team up against Shiki which would suggest a level of inferiority. However, we see similar circumstances played out here with Rayliegh and Gaban, and against an Oden not yet at his peak no less.

Yeah I'd probably change my tune on that now after seeing how strong Gaban has been implied to have been. I'd say it implies that they are all in a similar tier of power though, same with Shiki/Garp/Sengoku.
