Yea it’s the same one that Hyogoro demonstrated. Luffy stated he felt he could damage Kaido with that level of Haki, and we saw that the Scabbards were able to.

It seems to be so... but shouldn't Kinemon have been more dependable against Doflamingo if he could make use of an advanced Haki that could damage Kaido? I had always assumed Kaido was temporarily weakened by associating them with Oden.

You can say that they inherited his will when they attacked Kaido, but the entire basis of the Haki being Oden's was because it was cutting Kaido. Oden was the only person who ever left a scar on Kaido due to having this type of Haki (which is absolutely ridiculous considering he fought Roger, Shanks, WB, Big Mom, etc).




And by yelling Sunacchi, it's implied that they put their entire life force into this attack. That probably allowed their Haki to exceed their naturally normal levels and would explain why Kinemon wasn't capable of doing this in Dressrosa.

So perhaps emptying their entire spirit into their attacks without regard for their lives allowed them to tap into level 2 Busoshoku. Because it's definitely shown that they weren't capable of using this technique prior to the raid.
