Oh, I thought he had already watched them... sorry then.
I don't think he did. He asked so he knows. From your post right-now in your opinion Baron movie is probably second best , right?!

Yeah 2nd best, although I had more to talk about it than the Zetta movie haha.
It was certainly very different from all the other movies, so that's probably why.

Yeah, I like how every movie has that "adventure" spirit stuck to them, and even though the Zetta and Baron movies also had it, they were somewhat different.

Baron had that exploring a new place that's very weird, but with a twist.

What? Why was Sanji supposed to fight Kaku and Zoro Jabura? That doesn't make sense.
From Jabra's attitude, it seemed to be implied in the series that Jabra had the highest Douriki before Lucci became stronger from his undercover mission. Most likely, Oda initially planned for him to still be 2nd best before he changed his mind.

Why were people in Shabondy Archipelago like this? Shouldn't they be happy Ace died due to the marines portraying the pirates as the bad ones?

1. - Many Pirates gather on there, so there'd be a few in favour of Ace living.
2. - The repercussions of his death. It'd mean that Whitebeard wouldn't stop at destroying the Marines and, if he were successful (or at least dealed great damage to them by taking out top members), it'd cause a major shift in giving Pirates greater power over the world.

What do you guys think would happen if someone made a smoothie or juice out of two devil fruits and then drank it?

They'd gain the fruit's power if they ave the entire drink.

I imagine the mixture of the two would nullify any effect it'd have and just make it a regular smoothie/juice. Either that, or they'd die in the same manner as if they ate two Devil Fruits.

Are any of you up to date with the anime?
The last one I watched was the episode right before the mirror chick shows up. Has anything worth watching happened since then?

That's the shittiest part of the new arc.

Do you guys also think that Robin being the one to endure Perona's ghost would make more sense than Usopp?

I think so because she was considerably more emotionless back then. Even though Usopp was pretty pessimistic, Robin would barely react to anything, being always with her usual "boring" face.

I remember that in the site where I was watching OP, some people (before knowing Usopp was the one chosen) even joked that if a ghost went through Robin's body the ghost would be the one depressed haha.

She just seems in general considerably more depressive than Usopp imo.

Emotionless =\= negative, though she was pretty negative for a short amount of time after joining the crew I guess.

She also had some pretty negative speechs, like when she said that maybe Nami and co. were brutally murdered by the ghosts when Nami was riding the mini merry and they just disappeared.

Once Perona saw how Usopp withstood her ghosts, she said that people, as long as they are living, look forward to something, which implies not doing so might be the key to withstanding her power:

And Usopp, even though pretty negative himself, still aspires to become a brave warrior of the sea. Even though Robin also really wishes to know what happened in the missed century, by the way Perona described the trait of someone whose her power would better pick up on, it seems better linked to an emotionless, not-driven by anything person.

Those negative speeches are simply the trait that Oda gave to her similar to Usopp being a liar. They aren't meant to be taken seriously.

Perona's own quote is contradictory, is that Viz?

They are meant to be taken as seriously as Usopp's pessimistic demeanor in general. Usopp's pessimistic behavior is also a trait Oda gave to him.

Hmm, her Viz's quote is a bit different. She says humans are supposed to be positive. Dunno what's said in the original though.

But the quote of hers I quoted isn't really contradictive when you really look at it and how her power works. "People look forward to something" --> which is the exact opposite of what they turn out to be when affected by her power, as seen by them completely losing their will to live and being heavily depressed.

But as you said both Usopp and Robin have something that they are looking forward to. That quote is junk, especially when you read what Viz has.
