If DragonBall Super with its retcons didn't get sued by the DC for Super-Man, then I don't think anyone'll rightfully get sued.

Just started this anime. As much trash I've given it, I'm not gonna lie. It's seriously not bad at all.

I thought anime fans hating One Piece without watching or reading it ended in 2013. Guys like Steve.

I read past that battle with Whitebeard, and got to the giant children arc.

What are you finding about One Piece, @Yamcha?
I'm liking it so far. Right now it's a little bit boring, but I'm still in the early part of the series. It's where they meet Sanji and Don Krieg.

Not sure what this arc is called, probably Lost Island. But it is dreadfully boring.

Oh, I see. Yeah, that's still pretty early into the series.

Not sure either. What is happening?

I imagine based on how early on he was beforehand that this is the Warship Island Arc (the filler arc with the dragons)? If so, I'd advise skipping until about the last 5-10 minutes of episode 61 since the arc's overall a boring one that creates several plot holes with later events.

Yeah that's what it is, so it's filler that's why it's boring. Thanks for the advice, I'll take it. Too bad I'm already to episode 60. I might just see what arcs are filler and aren't so I can skip them.

As far as whole filler arcs, the list would be:

Warship Island Arc (Episodes 54-61)
Post-Alabasta and Goat Islands Arc (131 -138)
Ruluka Island/Rainbow Mist Arc (139 - 143)
G-8 Arc (196 - 206)
Ocean's Dream and Foxy's Return Arcs (220 - 228)
Ice Hunter Arc (326 - 335)
Spa Island Arc (382 - 384)
Little East Blue Arc (426 - 429)
Z's Ambition Arc (575 - 578)
Caesar Retrieval Arc (626 - 628)
Silver Mine Arc (747 - 750)
Marine Rookie Arc (780 - 782)

The Rainbow Mist Arc is actually pretty interesting for a filler arc with some decent level of world building, plus it leads directly into the next canon arc, so I'd advise watching it. The last few episodes of the Foxy's Return Arc lead into canon territory again as well, so I'd advise skipping through episode 227 until the character Aokiji shows up). I'd also advise just switching to the manga at some point, after the timeskip at the very latest, as whilst the anime does a good job at adding more emotion to it's scenes with excellent voice acting and music, pacing and animation take a massive decrease at that point.

Yeah, I'd also advise skipping to the manga post Timeskip. Before the TS though, no problem going with the anime. The TS happens post Whitebeards' war, btw.

Weirdly enough, on my 1st One Piece watching, I used to really enjoy the fillers. I wouldn't skip one since I found interesting to observe the crew's characterisation made by people besides Oda, as the author generally hasn't that much -- if at all -- of an input on fillers. They used to offer a good break from a past tense arc, so I'd also watch them to change pace a little.

Yeh One Pace is what I show my friend when I force him to watch One Piece. We got like an hour into the Kuro Arc and he was expecting it to wrap up. Like, no man - it's a series.

G8 Arc is a cool filler arc, just after Enel's arc. Something a bit different for One Piece and on par with the canon material.

I'd say it was decent in some areas, such as it's antagonist not wanting an actual fight, but Jonathan's personality being near enough the exact opposite of his tutor Akainu prevents it from holding up too well.
